MUJI “Like Water”

costi:

"Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world."

Sometimes you need to remind yourself that you were the one who carried you through the heartache. You are the one who sits with the cold body on the shower floor, and picks it up. You are the one who feeds it, who clothes it, who tucks it into bed, and you should be proud of that. Having the strength to take care of yourself when everyone around you is trying to bleed you dry, that is the strongest thing in the universe.

"

Architecture is a practice of amnesia. When projects are completed, the numerous ideas, thoughts, and research that supported their making are most often purged as the project is narrowed down to its essence- typically leaving behind only a set of final photographs and, maybe, a single sketch.
